Cardamom Essential Oil, or Elettaria cardamomum seed oil is an essential oil that helps you get in touch with yourself and combat psychological tiredness.

Cardamon is a shrub that can reach a height of up to 4 meters. It has long leaves and yellow flowers. These flowers produce seeds that are collected a little before full maturation.

Cardamon is a species known since ancient times that was used as a condiment and medicine. The Arabs and Romans used it to treat gastrointestinal problems. Hippocrates recommended it to relieve colds, abdominal pain, spasms, nervous imbalances and insect bites. In Chinese medicine, cardamom is considered to aid in the regeneration of Chi or life force by stimulating the lungs, spleen, heart, and nervous system. In Asia, cardamom has been considered a good stimulant, especially recommended for men, since by increasing the production of Chi, it increased vital and sexual energy.

On a cosmetic level, it is a refreshing and regenerating tonic, with purifying and antiseptic activity. It is an ideal ally to activate for its purifying power.

SKIN APPLICATION:

• Body Use only: we recommend a proportion of 97% Carrier Oil plus 3% Essential Oil, which means 6 drops of Essential Oil per 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.

APPLICATION METHOD:

• Diffuser: the use of diffusers without heat such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of essential oils. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil Preparation in the diffuser.
• Bath - jacuzzi : dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in bath water.
• Steam Inhalation: apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil Preparation on a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and the saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children.
