HYSSOP ESSENTIAL OIL

Cosmetic Level: Hyssop Essential Oil has the property of cleansing and toning the skin, it is astringent, regenerating and soothing; especially in cases of swelling or inflammation. It also has a detoxifying action, making it ideal for detox treatments and waste removers.

Therapeutic Level: is a highly emmenagogue, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, sudoriferous, expectorant, febrifuge and hypertensive essential oil

Psychological level: Hyssop Essential Oil favors alertness and mental activity. It is a great purifier that works as an energy barrier both at the entry and exit points. It is an essential oil with a protective effect in manual therapies.

Balsamic, Medicinal scent

Hyssop Essential Oil, or hyssopus officinalis leaf oil, is a powerful purifier that calms states of weakness and provides day-to-day optimism. Appropriate for people that don't work well with middle grounds.

Its name derives from the Greek name hyssopus which means herb that smells good. Both the leaves and the flowers of hyssop have been highly valued since ancient times for their medicinal properties. Its essential oil is a steam distillate of the leaves and floral tops. It is one of the herbs that the Old Testament prescribes to eat during the Paschal rite. It was used as a purifying and protective.

SKIN APPLICATION:

• Facial Use: we recommend a ratio of 99% Carrier Oil plus 1% Essential Oil. This translates into 2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.
• Body Use: we recommend a proportion of 97% Carrier Oil plus 3% Essential Oil, which means 6 drops of Essential Oil per 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.

APPLICATION METHOD:

• Diffuser: the use of diffusers without heat such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of essential oils. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil Preparation in the diffuser.
• Bath - jacuzzi : dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in bath water.
• Steam Inhalation: apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil Preparation on a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and the saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so don't expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
