MARJORAM ESSENTIAL OIL

Cosmetic level: soothing, decongestant, dermoprotective, detoxifying and reducing.

Therapeutic Level: analgesic, antispasmodic, bactericidal, carminative, digestive, diuretic, expectorant, vasodilator.

Psychological level: calming, combats anxiety and stress as well as insomnia.

Marjoram Essential Oil, or Origanum majorana flower oil, has antioxidant properties and helps combat daily stress. It helps you find inner happiness and helps your emotions flourish.

Introduced to Europe during the Middle Ages, possibly as a result of the Crusades, at that time it was called indigenous oregano. It was administered to the monks of the Middle Ages in some monasteries to make them feel better about themselves.

It is an essential oil with relaxing and calming properties, especially suitable for men: it helps combat anxiety, lack of sleep, intolerance and aggressiveness. Decreases sexual response.

SKIN APPLICATION:

• Facial Use: we recommend a ratio of 99% Carrier Oil plus 1% Essential Oil. This translates into 2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.
• Body Use: we recommend a proportion of 97% Carrier Oil plus 3% Essential Oil, which means 6 drops of Essential Oil per 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.

APPLICATION METHOD:

• Diffuser: the use of diffusers without heat such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of essential oils. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil Preparation in the diffuser.
• Bath - jacuzzi : dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in bath water.
• Steam Inhalation: apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil Preparation on a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and the saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so don't expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
