MINT ESSENTIAL OIL

Cosmetic Level:Menta Piperita Essential Oil is astringent, decongestant, refreshing and tonic. Especially used in treating circulation problems and heaviness in the legs, helping to treat retention or derived cellulite.

Therapeutic Level: is an essential oil with analgesic, antispasmodic, sudorific effect. Carminative, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge and stimulant. It is especially indicated for circulation problems and derivatives such as headaches, migraines, varicose veins, spider veins, etc.

Emotional Level:Menta Piperita Essential Oil refreshes and clarifies, promotes concentration and reduces mental fatigue. It is an essential oil highly recommended for periods of projects and studies.

It is one of the 12 basic essential oils to start in aromatherapy.

Mint, or Peppermint Essential Oil, which is very refreshing, is a powerful natural painkiller, and physical and mental analgesic.

Mint is a genus of perennial herbaceous plants with highly branched stems, between 30 and 70cm tall, with petiolate, opposite, oval leaves, between 4 and 9cm long and 2 and 4cm wide. Both leaves and stems are usually slightly hairy.

It is included among the most widely used aromatic herbs and is appreciated for its characteristic refreshing aroma. It is used in gastronomy, as well as in other uses such as pharmaceuticals.

It is an essential oil ideal for those who have a tendency to heaviness of spirit as a result of excessive mental activity. It helps combat specific moments of headache by providing a feeling of freshness and lightness. Peppermint Essential Oil is therefore a first-line essential oil for use in cases of mental fatigue.

SKIN APPLICATION:

• Facial Use: we recommend a ratio of 99% Carrier Oil plus 1% Essential Oil. This translates into 2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.
• Body Use: we recommend a proportion of 97% Carrier Oil plus 3% Essential Oil, which means 6 drops of Essential Oil per 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.

APPLICATION METHOD:

• Diffuser: the use of diffusers without heat such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of essential oils. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil Preparation in the diffuser.
• Bath - jacuzzi : dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in bath water.
• Steam Inhalation: apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil Preparation on a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and the saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so don't expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
