One of the essential oils of choice in the formulation of body oils for the treatment of respiratory tract conditions, due to its balsamic properties. To combine with mint, eucalyptus, thyme and petit-grain.

Pine Essential Oil or Pinus sylvestris leaf oil helps preserve the integrity of the skin and hair against oxidative processes and helps improve general circulation.

Pine essential oil has long been known to our ancestors who, in ancient times, inhaled this essential oil from Nordic climates to benefit from its soothing action on the bronchial tubes. It grows in the mountains, in sandy or gravel soils. It has a gray-purple bark, rigid acicular leaves, with yellow male flowers and red female flowers, and a green ovoid cone that tends to brown when ripe.

The aroma of pine helps improve breathing, disinfect the respiratory tract and purifies the air in a smoker's environment. It has numerous applications in cosmetics. It is a powerful antiseptic. Disinfectant suitable for foot baths, sitz baths, etc. It is also anti-inflammatory, deodorant and refreshing. Useful in baths to refresh the skin and prevent and calm respiratory disorders or mixed with beeswax or jojoba oil for chest rubs. In massage oils it has a calming and analgesic action, improving circulation.

SKIN APPLICATION:

• Body Use only: we recommend a proportion of 97% Carrier Oil plus 3% Essential Oil, which means 6 drops of Essential Oil per 10 ml. of Carrier Oil.

APPLICATION METHOD:

• Diffuser: the use of diffusers without heat such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of essential oils. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil Preparation in the diffuser.
• Bath - jacuzzi : dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in bath water.
• Steam Inhalation: apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil Preparation on a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and the saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so don't expose skin to the sun after use.
